Protests follow Google ‘endorsed advert’ change

“Google is facing a backlash over plans to put people’s faces and comments about products and places into adverts.”

Since Snowden came out about the NSA, there has been a general feeling of violation from Americans in particular. People are becoming more and more sensitive to giving out their information and Google coming out wanting to use people’s information as advertising have left people uneasy. So much so that even though Google has been very upfront about this, people are still holding protests to raise awareness for what they believe is a violation of their privacy.
